Job Overview
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Partner with Compass customers to understand their products and provide clear advice on the regulatory requirements and timelines to commercialize their products
- Develop registration strategies in line with client commercial objectives including identification of potential regulatory hurdles and mitigation strategies
- Obtain EPA and State registrations of pesticides and/or biopesticide products including development, preparation and submission of registration dossiers
- Manage regulatory studies conducted with 3rd party collaborators and ensure they are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and timeline
- Cultivate strong client relationships through timely communication and exceptional service
- Help expand Compass’ client base; support product demos, introductory calls, networking at conferences
- Keep abreast of evolving regulatory landscape and proactively communicate potential impacts on Client authorizations
- Represent Compass in regulatory/industry associations and conferences
- Manage client regulatory activities in the Compass platform
- Develop product expertise and provide continual feedback to the engineering team to improve the products functionality and user interface
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline required
- 5-8 years experience in agricultural input regulatory, with deep understanding of the regulatory framework for registration of biological, fertilizer, and pesticide products
- Experience communicating with regulatory agencies
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Compensation
- Base Salary $100K – $150K
- Offers Equity
Compensation and Additional Information
We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into two zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
This role is also eligible to participate in the company's equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
